BIGA Care Volunteers

Early intervention for those with a health condition is key to successfully helping one to turn one’s life around. As a volunteer for BIGA Care you’ll have the opportunity to encourage those living in your community to talk to someone about getting well. You will also help us in educating members of the community about ways in which they can help people with a health condition.

What you can expect

A voice with the community

BIGA Care volunteers  are enthusiastic and passionate people who take the time to provide guidance, support and encouragement to members of the community in relation to BIGA Care activities.

Advocating health and wellbeing practices

In offering your service as a BIGA Care Volunteer you will spread the word about what BIGA Care is doing and encourage family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, to look for ways they can get involved too.

You will act as a central point of contact for people in your community

Making a difference

Caring for your community: Do people in your community stop to help the elderly people up and down the stairs or open a door? Do people stand up on the bus to allow those less mobile to sit down? Do people help those that may be experiencing a medical episode?

Passionate for cause? Why not organise a volunteering day to support a charity your passionate about?
